How the programme runs
CNC operation is one of the most sought-after courses among ITI graduates and 12th-pass youth. Gram Tarang prepares over 1,000 young technicians a year for the auto component industry, working on CNC lathe and milling production machines.
Trainees are deployed with employers in Chennai, Pune and Noida. Gram Tarang also operates an HAL-empanelled Mini Tool Room producing aero engine components for the MiG and Sukhoi divisions.
